Introducing the feature-rich Multi Range 4002-DRS meter. The advantages of our Multi Range 4002-DRS are illustrated by an example from the practice of plant physiology (Report of the University of Regensburg on the determination of the primary production of algae).
The high measuring accuracy, the measurement stability and the minimal drift of the sensor make the detection range of the oxygen measurement technique comparable with radioactive tracer experiments. The advantages over experiments using radioactive substances are obvious; offering almost equal sensitivity, the oxygen measurement technique eliminates a number of important drawbacks: no radioactive substances, no isotope laboratory, no need for chemical “cocktails” that may be harmful to users, no medical examination of personnel, no disposal of radioactive wastes.
